It gives me great pride and pleasure to welcome everyone to our next Scientific Meeting of the Asia Pacific Menopause Federation! This meeting will take place in sunny Singapore from 20 – 23 April 2017.

Asian countries are amongst those that are most rapidly ageing in the world. Japan already has the oldest population on Earth, while China's one-child policy has skewed the age demographics. India, the second largest population, will develop also a significant greying need as she strives to become a huge global economic player. 

The issues women face around menopause and beyond are most pertinent in our Asia Pacific region. 

Our meeting will feature renowned clinicians and researchers who will share, discuss and debate new developments and controversial topics that will impact our daily practice. Aside from the excellent scientific program, the exhibition, social program and gala dinner will give delegates a chance to network among colleagues while enjoying the cuisine, multi-ethnic cultures, and warm hospitality which Singapore has become famous for!
